Requiem for the Juan de Fuca Plate. It started out egregiously minty, but once the patchouli developed, this became seriously likeable. It somehow reminds me of standing on the deck of the ferry to Saltspring Island on a sunny but not overly hot day, with the wind blowing in my hair. Refreshing!
Candied Head. They bill this one as being for those days when you can't decide whether you want to smell like a candy shop or a head shop, and since I have those days, I had to try it. Candied Head is a luscious candy shop, swirling with incense and amber. It's sweetness intermixed with heady bitterness, but it gets sweeter as it ages. Lovely.
Marmalade Tabby. This is as sweet as my darling baby Cupcake, even though it smells nothing like him. This is all orange and caramel and sugar, with just a little bit of musk to add depth. Adorable.
Scooter. Blueberry musk and violets on a bed of ozone, which slowly morphs into ozone musk and violets in a blueberry patch, and then back again. Fun!
Lemonbomb. This is interesting: a lemon that manages to not go even slightly furniture polish on me, not even for a second. This is a sweet lemon meringue, served with chilled lemonade that has just the teensiest hint of sourness, to provide contrast. Delicious.
Camping in a Vanilla Forest. This is one of the most awesome scents I have ever tried! A perfect, seemingly effortless blend of vanilla and patchouli that starts out smoky but sweetens the longer it's on. This is so totally me that if I was the kind of girl who could settle down with just one scent, this would be duking it out with I Am a Dandelion and Haunted to be that one scent. Amazing!
