[kundalini] so very relaxed now
Mar. 22nd, 2011 09:08 pmIt stands to reason that the day after I announce my intention to blog my kundalini yoga experiences, I suffer a nigh-total failure of will to practice. There's nothing quite like stating an intention to absolutely kill my enthusiasm. I procrastinated. I made up dumb excuses. I waffled. I ate so I could justify another three hours of procrastination, dumb excuses and waffling.
And then I bit the bullet and did a very short set. I chose "Sleep Easy" from Raviana's Quick Fixes because I've been struggling with sleep issues for the last few weeks. I really need to remember that this set exists, because I am so tranquilized right now, it's a miracle I can move my fingers enough to type. And I still need to eat dinner. So while it wasn't the best/most focused/most disciplined yoga I've ever done in my life, it nevertheless seems to be having a relatively profound effect.
If it helps me fall and/or stay asleep, it's a safe bet I'll be doing this one more often.
