To all those Americans who are talking about fleeing to Canada in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision on the Affordable Care Act, I have only this to say: "Yeah, I'd rather have single payer, too."
If you are going to expect someone to show up at their appointment with a full bladder, it is cruel of you to make them wait 20 minutes past their appointment time. (Followed by an additional 5 for the ultrasound doc to make an appearance).

If you're really running that late, maybe you could prioritize the people whose scans necessitate a full bladder ahead of those whose scans do not. Kind of a urinary triage, if you will.

It's bad enough that we have to get all transvaginal about this. Must you torture my bladder, as well?

Sincerely,
Girl Who Hates You A Lot Right Now (and Really Doesn't Want to Do This Again in Three Months)
No sooner did I arrive home from my surgery than I received, in the mail, a notice from my health care insurance provider that they had agreed to pay for the event.

On the one hand, it would have been good to know that going in, so I wouldn't have had to stress about it.

On the other, they paid. A lot of these companies can't be bothered to do even that.
